This is regarding New India Assurances Overseas Mediclaim Policy.
Mercury International, UK, the SOLE authorised agent for handling claims of New India Assurance, has REFUSED to process any claims from New India Assurance for non-payment of dues.
Therefore, all those who have bought or plan to buy a policy from New India Assurance could in in big trouble, like I am.
I am trying desparately to seek help from New India Assurance who refuse to do anything.

On advice of my friend, my mother bought Oriental Insurance,(Mercury Insurance) policy for her visit to US. She had some problem and we consulted a doctor paying $450. Since the claim was below $500, we claimed it at Florida office of Mercury Insurance and go the reimbursement in 32 days. |

Friends,
My parents were visiting US and they got the Insurance from New India. My dad was running temperature and had to see a doctor. The doctor denied to accept the Insurance and asked us to pay upfront. so we paid close to $350. When we raised a claim with New Indias counterpart company here, they denied to pay the money back. New India is a BIG FRAUD. My parents are visiting US for the second time, now I got them insurance from USA, it is a bit expensive to get insurance here. But atleast I have heared good things about them unlike New "FRAUD" India Insurance.
